Prefer to go in the morning before work. On days I train after work I just make sure i'll be free.

I'm a "home" type of dude. I don't like to go out more than 3 times during the week after work. And the gym is a waste of an evening.

630am gym workouts on Monday through Saturday. Friday nights stay quiet. The homies don't even hit me up no more. Saturday is usually my most strenuous workout.

I could go out and drink Saturday but I feel like that shyt just wastes the time I just put in the gym all week. I do admit I need a better balance. But until I reach my goal I'm content with being a hermit. Maybe I'll regret it when I'm done. Maybe I won't.

The gym is my priority. I might have an addiction. But these gains :whoo:

I usually go during lunch and again in the evening M-W-F, then do cardio Tues and Thurs during lunch. I'm not heavy into the hanging out anymore, especially being down south. Mainly on that go to work and come home to the fam routine. I mainly just try to avoid peak hours which is why I prefer hitting the gym like an hour and change before it closes.

Its crazy cause Im a homebody too, but it seems like since I moved down south I have been going out way way way more

Again tho I work out on my lunch break so it's no biggie. I like being able to come home and completely relax even if I have to stay a little later at work.

Funny thing, when I was up top, I would absolutely HATE going into the city over the weekend, unless a club or something was involved. But going there to eat or something? :stopitslime:, especially if it was relatively close to where I worked. But down here, I don't have a problem coming back by the office to grab dinner or something.

A lot of coworkers been trying to get my to do that whole bar hopping thing with them, but that's never been my style. Plus a lot of the clubs here close mad early anyway.

I can't wait until this Lifetime Fitness opens up near us; I'll be going at all hours :blessed:

Lol, when I lived IN the city I didn't like going out. Even on a Friday night. I would claim I was too tired, which was BS as I had no problem either going to the gym or going for a 12 mile ride during that same time :lolbron:

I do think now that I'm down here and settled I will try and link with some other fitness heads. I already have a few gym buddies... just need to get some cycling buddies too.

I have a friend who will never miss the gym regardless of the social event, dude will always meet us after he finishes his session, and has something to eat.

Me on the other hand, I prefer to hit the gym BUT if it's conflicting with a social event I will just miss it that day basically.

I wake up at like 5:30am to hit the gym up before work on the week days, so it never interferes with my social life really. The week end is usually when I hang out tho.

when i used to workout in the evenings, i was this way also, gym schedule was basically part of my workday. in the same way i wouldn't leave work early to kick it, i wouldn't miss the gym. but as a morning workout person you get the best of both worlds :blessed: knowing you got your workout in and have room for the splurge that a few drinks may be :banderas:

Really isn’t that hard. As an adult we have to figure out how to prioritize time to maximize our days. For me, I get to the gym between 5-5:30 am so that I have my evenings after work free to do whatever I need to do.
