Social life vs working out

I've found this happening a lot lately where people want to hang out, but it's on days that I plan to hit the gym ... this was never a problem when I was going at 5:30 in the morning (and make no mistake, I'm not going back to that :beli: ), but now that I go in the evenings, I'll always tell people that I'll see how I feel after I work out. And I'm strict too - if I don't hang out, so be it, but I never miss a work out.

How many of you are the same way? Putting your gains, brah ( :troll: ) ahead of hanging out?

I workout in the morning for a couple reasons. I have nothing else to do at 6:30 am so it's not like I'm going to skip my workout because something better came along. Two, it makes me a lot more productive at work.

If morning don't work for you, maybe try fitting it in in the day somehow. Lunchtime or something.

I go in the morning on the weekends and I go 2 days during the week right after work... So I have no issues....

Not going back to morning workouts (except on the weekends). The tipping point for me was when I switched jobs and found that there were gyms that were close to my locale :ahh:

I know there are some days where I just don't feel like being bothered after a workout :manny:

I usually dont hit the club or bar until 12:30-1am thats pretty much the only time i see my friends.

so my schedules never interfere.

I skip gym days to go drink after work sometimes. I try to keep a good balance that works for me. But if i feel a lag or weight gain its right back to a 10 mile run. If i feel muscle loss then i hit it hard on the weights the very next day.

I have a horrible schedule so I exercise 3x a week via gym around 11 A.M. I run twice as well around the same time on different days. My social life is non existent cause of the shytty work schedule. I'm about to bounce simply cause of it :birdman:
