Dope. I didn't know they made blended those genres(kompa ad soca).

I'm haitian and one thing i always thought would be dope is if they mixed rara with hip hop (Wyclef kinda did a hint of it at the end of the Thug Angel video). But now im starting to wonder if it could be mixed with dancehall styles or other Caribbean styles...
This not the first time Haitian and Trini music has been blended together.

The island of Dominica has genre of music called Cadence-lypso.

It is a fusion of Haitian Cadence Rampa and Trini Calypso.

Soca, Kompa, Ampiano, all of that tether music is trash if we’re being honest(afro-beats is barely tolerable), I hate when the dj is vibing good then throws that on in the middle of it, and don’t talk about oh the chicks dance to it cause “back that azz up” or any random Lil Jon/Yin Yang Twins song is way better for them to dance to. Save that bs for carnival

Hip-hop on a dancefloor for most part is Asss. No vibes at all, no one dancing at all.

When i was younger, i could somewhat tolerate it. Nowadays, the energy depletes out of me as soon as i hear it.

Damn near every song is jump and whine and jump and wave and carnival time. Hell naw.

Older me isn't so much energized enough for jumping, but i' always ready for some wine
