Merry go round investing is a thing. In Kenya this type of investing holds $3.4B in assets.

It did say that there are risks if the early folks that cash out don't return to the circle. I wouldnt do it myself, but as long as folks know the risks it on them.

That's not at all the same thing. Chamas are paid out on a fixed schedule and everybody pays a contribution. This, for obvious reasons, has no fixed schedule on returns. Also, it's long been established that the people in the middle of these looms...didn't pay a single cent to enter. lol.
