I think the divisions are just big enough that this could work as long as women in tag teams also compete regularly for the single title.
Like on Raw, if Bayley and Sasha are a team, they should still be able to feud with Bliss whenever they aren't in the tag title picture. Don't do them like the men where teams only fight for the tag titles (unless you're The Shield).
It was never for a guaranteed Mania spot.

Big Wrestlers generally dont get title runs. theres only so many times you can do a david vs goliath type of fight before it gets repetitive. I mean you can but then she would have to drop the title and thats it.
Theres a reason why Big show, Kane didnt have lenghtly runs. Its why Braun wont get one either.
Name me a big man that got a lengthly title run.

Smackdown when the brand spilt started had at one time 3 different women storyline going
It can be done but it take actually caring and effort which has fallen off in months and they have gotten lazy so it’s just back to bunching everyone together.

Is “Brock” considered a big man? He’s definitely not large like Brain or Kane but he’s booked like a “Goliath” and his current run is pretty long
