Braun is obviously cashing in at Summer Slam and since Brock is allegedly scheduled for the Raw the night after, they’ll probably use that show to leave it open-ended, where they can pick up a real feud (or as much of one as you can have with Lesnar) when Brock is done with DC and wants to fleece Vince some more next year.

Him cashing in, but not in an announced singles match, gives them a “shocking” moment and plays into their half-assed version of a long game.
Ideal cash-ins, especially in the case of a wrestler with as much momentum as Braun, have to happen in the right place at the right time. The situation and occasion for a cash-in from a character like Braun Strowman has to be HUGE and if creative has any wit to them, they'll do something over-the-top destructive...especially if it's really Brock that Braun ends up pinning to win it.
I imagine that it'd be a situation where it's not just Brock and Roman in the ring since that's already been done....
