Versace was hot before Drake jumped on it and so was Bando. You sound like an idiot.
:mjlol: Yeah fukkin right stop lying. Maybe it's cause I don't live in the south but Migos wasn't poppin outside of Versace, Fight Night, and maybe handsome & wealthy. And what buzz they had definitely started from the Versace remix.

People would cut the song off right after Drake's verse ended. Radio DJs would rewind Drake's verse over then end the song after the hook. Average listener don't even know what these nikkas saying. Their buzz was always lukewarm, dudes not even buzzing right now and they drop material about as consistently as Future. people don't wanna admit it they benefited from the national exposure that verse gave. Same way Kanye gave Keef exposure with the I Don't Like remix.

Migos is just another niche southern trap act like thug, rocko and peewee, no way that record has legs on it's own.

Somebody school me on this...how does this happen? How can somebody make a remix of a song you didn't ask/authorize them to and not break bread with you? I don't understand.

People have been throwing their own verse on hits for years breh. If they don't try to monetize it I doubt there is much that can be done

Dude is a nickelodeon child star from canada trying to talk like he from the south and act tough. this dude is like nick cannon and iggy in one. I don't see how dude gets a pass, i mean they literally had to teach this grown man how to say nikka at the beginning of his rap career

I've seen this clip before, but I gotta say it again, that that clip is CRINGE-worthy.

He's an extremely shrewd business man in an industry which a lot of "real nikkas" inhabit.

It's not hard to see why they'd consider him fake, and wouldn't fukk with him outside of money making purposes.

this is pretty much how I see it. when it was actually time for him to sign with a label, he already had hit songs out there and a bidding war for his services. so it's no suprise that he most likely got a VERY favorable record deal.

Word ever since I peeped how Drake did the Migos and Future like that. I knew he was flaw dude, his whole gimmick is a act. Motherfukka hopped on their record, when they didnt even ask for it, then didnt give em clearance to sell the shyt. So they couldnt even make money off it. He only did that bullshyt to look "hot to the streets"

QC ....migos label details it in a article. Said the whole situation was a "Gift and a Curse"

"he talks about how good it feels to have proven wrong all the people who said "Versace" had only become a hit because Drake added a verse to a remix. It wasn't because of Drake, Pee says—in fact, he adds, he's not even sure the Drake thing ended up helping that much, especially since Drake's label never gave Quality Control the clearance to sell the song on iTunes. "It was a gift and a curse. Sometimes I really wish he had never jumped on it—it was gonna blow without him."

Drake and Future seem cool, wouldn't doubt if Bridman was tryna extort them on some "if you wanna use drake you gotta pay"

Or the fact that he's a jewish, child TV star that sings/raps about being from the bottom and never getting any help from anyone.

Dude is a fraud, plain and simple. And now we know that he doesn't even write his own stuff or have his own flow. I hate Drake for the same reason that I hate a lot of hip-hop artists.. he's fake. The only thing he has going for him is that, unlike a lot of mainstream hip-hop, he isn't promoting violence.

He's a fraud in an industry where where many people are frauds, though. Hip hip is WWF.

So tea = gossip?
:ohhh:
Drama, scoop, inside info, gossip. All of the above. Lsa membees vomit the word out of their mouths every 2 seconds

That read was great though. It makes everything add up.

Basicly, Drake plays the game better than anyone else

And actually his song writing skills are special otherwise he would not be able to have such leverage.
