we'll never see another black wall street; the black communities are too fragmented at this point. We may see a major black owned media company that's able to compete with the white owned big six; that's more realistic, and I'm actually surprised no one's even attempted it yet

I'm still hopeful, but its gonna take a serious wakeup call for us to get serious. Trayvon didn't do it, Mike Brown didn't do it, Eric Garner didn't do it, Tamir Rice didn't do it, and Charleston didn't do it.

I'm not sure what will wake the masses of us up, but I'm hopeful

How it remains so cheap compared to LA or NY is truly unknown to me and absolutely would I support it without a thought, when you look at how much land you have to work with.

Any modern Black Wall Street type of area is going to happen organically and not by people trying to designate an area to turn into one. I think somebody already said this in this thread but Black Wall Street happened because the segregation conditions back then forced it to happen. We had to work together and have each other's backs because white people were not letting us into their schools and businesses. Racists still exist but now you probably won't get lynched for stepping into a "white area." People were forced to be "woke" back then so a large number of Black people will have to become woke again to create another area like this.
