This is what happens when you put your eggs in one basket and go with Make Roman Look Strong Dammit booking instead of try to build multiple Main Eventers that can step up at a moments notice. Looking at the RAW roster, there's Rollins and Strowman who could be the flag bearer. Obviously could go the lazy route and put the belt back on Brock, but everyone else is either injured, not ready to be a Main Eventer, or a victim of the bad writing/50-50 booking combination.

At least with Smackdown there are a few people who could be elevated in case AJ Styles got hurt.

the obvious Vince type of guy is EC3. WWE doesn't like to put the title on it's time-fillers like Elias, because in their eyes they don't need the belt to be over. EC3 is a guy who WWE already has a template for. Seth will always be their change of pace champ...the #2 guy. AJ is old. DB isn't that dude like that and he's fragile. Dean is trash in the ring and he's not all that as a character either. Bobby is black. New Day are black. Ricochet might be too small (Devitt getting hurt probably ruined that for a while). Miz is another time-filler. They just made Gargano into Ciampa-2. Braun is Big Show status.

It's time for WWE to maybe really think about pushing "non-traditional" guys and get away from that mold for a few years. You have people like Elias and Velveteen Dream out here being used to get bland people over. Instead they should be putting the belt on the entertaining guys that can carry fukkery filled storylines.

If they're going to be booked to the frustration of fans and at the expense of others, I'd strongly caution against it.

That's a bad environment and only breeds contempt from your audience.

I still say you have to get the brand split right. Dean tossed the tag titles, they're not needed on RAW.

The Universal Title is vacant yet again. It isn't needed.

Let AJ bring the WWE title back to RAW. Let Shinsuke bring the US title back to RAW.

Consolidate your heavyweight mens talent on RAW. Continue AJ's reign and treat it with some respect.

Consolidate your tag teams on Smackdown. Consolidate your women on Smackdown.

Move the Cruiserweights up to Smackdown. They're very capable.

I like this idea, it makes those titles look important
