Apparently no one told the team they had to play tonight, just no effort on defense all night.

Boston has been a thorn in our side the past couple of seasons so I expected a tight game, but they just let the Celtics walk all over them

Where was this effort the other 3 quarters? All we can ask for is they play like that for 48 minutes, and tonight they waited 36 minutes before feeling like putting in effort

Stevens basically left his starters minus Rondo in all 4th, tried to run the score back up on us. Letting Bradley press full court with 2 mins left

Our defensive rotations were super slow and the celts were making everything... Horrible combination to try to win

On the bright side dwill looks good..

I said it while watching that last preseason gsme against boston that i dont like this team without brook and tonight shows ..

True, but with the effort we gave tonight even Lopez wouldn't have helped. Celtics rode that home crowd wave and were on fire, but at some point we needed to stand up and stop them no matter what it took. And we just didn't do it.

Teams are gonna make runs on us because we aren't athletic enough when games get up and down, we need to have the ability to stop them before it turns into 17-1 like tonight.

True..We needed brook to stop that run and get a quick two or a foul..but i still dont like the make up of this team without brook..everything revolves around him and its evident when hes not playing.

Oh Brook is huge for us no doubt. But Hollins said it best in the Postgame when someone asked if Brook was out there would he have helped



Brook will help us, but no one can overcome all those dumb plays we made. #1 priority needs to be cleaning that up, and then you add Brook in and we can win some games

Yep i agree..To me the biggest thing was our defensive rotations being off.

I was just saying long term the way this team runs things, this team without brook isnt really good.

Agreed.

If we fix our issues and Brook can stay on the floor we can at least challenge for the playoffs. If we get any combination of this defense and Brook missing significant time over the entire season we are in serious trouble.
