nope not once...I was worried as fukk too believe me...But the only reason why im worried is because this shyt is too easy to be true....Its been about two weeks since my first xbox was fixed and havent heard anything from them except that its working great...There's more to it then the xclamp fix or applying thermal compound...Usually i reflow the motherboard just to be sure it doesnt go back to the RROD after a few weeks...u can find many instructions on how to do that...All u need is a heat gun...

had ONE xbox do this too me...What u need to do is find the error code...Hold the sync button and press the eject button 4 times and it will give u a sequence of red blinking lights...


4 lights = 0

3 lights = 3

2 lights = 2

1 light = 1


Once u get the code u look it up online and it will tell u exactly whats wrong with it....If you dont understand what i just told you,goolgle "how to get xbox error codes"...


The one xbox that had the same problem u had was because the power receptor on the xbox needed to be fixed...They had a video on that and i fixed it...Had to buy some reflux shyt to fix it....

Breh, what do you do if your shyt aint red ringing but the disk tray don't open, and when it does and you finally put some shyt in it doesn't read? Is that some shyt I gotta send it to m$ to get fixed? I bought a slim a while back cuz my orignal is doing this shyt.

clean the lens breh....Boil hot water,dip a qtip and lightly clean the laser lens...Use the other end of the qtip to dry it off...Did this to 3 other Xboxs who had the open/close tray error and wouldnt read disc...

Also,clean the whole inside of the DVD while your at it...The side bars have grease as well as the long screw on the left side....Clean it all...
