Nationally, nothing much will change. I personally think they will focus more on state and local governments, similar to the way they did to implement changes on abortion, voter ID, and gay marriage, just to name a few issues of significance in recent years.
The centralization of power in state legislatures and city and county government, particularly through the ability of Republican-led efforts at redistricting and limiting the demographic of people that can vote, is something that gives Rethugs a degree of control to limit the increasingly collective presence of minorities vs the "white establishment". Look at the electoral map and recognize the number of Red states that are there. If they were smart, they would consolidate as much power as they could in those states, and use that leverage as a way to campaign for a federal change to the electoral college that either tweaks the system, or does away with it totally.
Them muthafukkas are crafty enough to at least implement some degree of fukkery to stay relevant, if not in power.
