First off, if you buy jeans that are under 100 bucks, you are doing yourself a disservice. A good pair of black and blue jeans should last you 5 years, if they are good denim.

Acne is by far one of the best denims. APC is great denim especially when you consider quality for price. I tend to hate stuff like Samurai and Sugarcane.

There's more to denim than how it weights and if it's selvage. Also raw denim tends to fade heavily which kills all the appeal for me. Fit, finish, and detailing > weight of denim. I only wear black denim as is anyways.
