I play every fighting game, don't give a fukk about tiers and just play whoevers moveset appeals to me the most. I also never play the cover boy(s) or popular characters - shyt is more often than not boring to play as and against

Lei Wulong >>> allTekken: Lei Wulong, Dragunov, Feng Wei, and Baek
I like the Tekken series most. I tend to pick the weird unorthodox nikkas.
Lei Wulong is tricky as hell which is what I appreciate more than anything else in a figthing. His command list can be a bytch when you're training to use him but it's also an advantage against other players. All them stances can confuse.
Thats cause ryu's the best beginner character u dweebTell me about it. My pet peeve is bums who only pick Ryu/Ken in Street Fighter.
I swear, a nikka will go into Ranked in SFIV and fight like 8 Ryus in a row.
shyt is EXTREMELY lame.

This is like a more detailed version of what I was trying to say earlier.I wholeheartedly agree to this. Only occasionally, I like usually a character like Ryu, but most games I avoid those types. More often than not, one of my mains ends up being a character that a lot of folks don't initially use, but end up getting popular way down the line, like Fei Long in SFIV.
I also tend to pick heavy mix-up characters or fairly unique ones and choose characters who's styles, movesets, design and personality I most vibe with.
Most of my characters are generally well-balanced or very proficient at either being tricky and/or aggressive, though in my youth I was much more of a defensive fighter. I rarely play as keep away characters cuz its usually a boring playstyle. I never really vibe with slow characters and typically don't use grapplers unless they're not of the typical SF ilk (big, slow and generic design). I like more unique styled KOF grapplers though like Blue Mary and Shermie. Cerebella in Skullgirls was also a grappler I liked.
DOA : Ayane, Christie
SoulCalibur : Kilik, Xianghua, Talim, Hwang
MK : It seems they always change and fukk up the characters but in general : Liu Kang, Sub Zero, Johnny Cage, Reptile.
