So when did Beyoncé become a black feminist icon?

I dunno about that whole feminist shyt. I do know that women can't separate fact from fiction a lot of times, well her fans can't.

I also know that this ain't real life it's the net and the convos will be different than in real life a lot of the times. I know many people and we don't always engage in deep discussions ..so im not sure why someone would be complaining about it.

I'm also not sure why "real nikkaz" in real life are plotting to get p*ssy off the strength of some beyonce album....

...real nikkaz are getting p*ssy regardless...

...getting lapdances REGARDLESS

of course she's not one...these retards around here are just getting their drama queen on.

Well, I feel like Beyonce herself doesn't necessarily uphold feminism in her day-to-day life with her husband and child-at least not second wave feminism. However, she knows exactly what she's doing when it comes to the underlying messages in some of her songs. I mean "Who Runs the World" is about as feminist in rhetoric as it can get. And I'm not disparaging her or that song, I'm just stating the fact.

But the same woman makes/performs songs like 'Cater 2 U", "Let Me Upgrade You" and others that are basically submissive in nature. Plus, if I'm not mistaken, she doesn't write songs...she just performs the songs. So, I think Beyonce sometimes sells a product that she doesn't necessarily use herself. No different than the Muslim who owns the corner store selling beer and Slim Jims.

Peace
