There was no ambition in that movie whatsoever. Same with Hex and the ghost rider movies. I'm not a fan of Hulk but at least Ang Lee tried some different shyt and definitely shot for the moon even if he missed

The story is standard/underwhelming...but Ang Lee's vision for the look of the film is genius. It's probably the most auteur-ist mainstream comic book film we'll ever get.
