Chamillionaire said in an interview that Paul was going around to different record labels, saying to not sign him, etc. Mike Jones co-signed this later on, saying Paul was going around shytting on Cham to people in the industry. I don't know how true that is but, Cham is on record for saying this.

Flip still didn't turn his back on Face after that bullshyt with TI, and all in all I think Face got paid for that phone call. Flip was seen with Scarface like the week after at the beach party in Galveston.

I didn't like how Houston kind of turned their back on Flip during that TI bullshyt. From my understanding, it was mostly on some envy or jealous shytt. Some rappers was mad that Flip didn't put a lot of Houston rappers on the U Gotta Feel Me album, even though he put a lot of Houston rappers on the Undaground Legend album. Flip later said that Sony took off some of the songs that feature other Houston rappers for the U Gotta Feel Me album. Other rappers didn't like how he made himself the Freestyle King by being knighted by DJ Screw. It was a lot of shytt which in my opinion killed the whole DJ Screw/Wattz Houston movement. I always felt that Trae was jealous of Flip and Mike Jones success. Houston would've still be relevant if nikkaz wasn't jealous and put their ego to the side.

Flip still had nikkaz still riding for him during that time like Z-Ro, Chamillionaire, and Pimp C.

But T.I. quickly back down after that Young Buck Stomp record. He probably looked at Flip as an easy target. Remember both Flip and Ludacris had a recent platinum albums in May of 2004, while Trap Muzik was still Gold in May of 2004. As T.I. Trap Muzik came out before Flip and Ludacris albums.
