If that’s the case, then a lot of star players wouldn’t be playing or coming back in a few games as none of them are fully healthy.
Guys have been doing that all year, load managing injuries, whatever you wanna call it. Bottom line Bron knows what's at stake, if he's healthy enough to play he'll play.

They know that’s at stake just as much as he does. He’s going to play regardless of whether he’s fully healthy or not just as Harden and Mitchell who won’t be fully healthy themselves.

Exactly, and Utah nor Brooklyn are panicking so there's not much to be worried about.

The difference is that those teams won't be in the play-in tournament, while it's looking extremely like the Lakers will. The one that the Lakers have working in their favor is that their potential opponents are completely awful. Even then, there's the fear that Steph (if they play) will get red hot and cruise the Warriors into victory.

That's why Bron is trying to come back even if he isn't fully healthy, as he obviously wants no part of the play-in tournament.

Play-in or no play-in, it doesn't matter. I remember when people were hyping up the "most dangerous 8 seed" in the Portland Trailblazers last year:mjlol:

Then it was "they should be afraid of the Rockets", then it was "Don't sleep on the Nuggets who came back from 3-1 on the Clippers"

Trust, the Lakers aren't afraid of nobody in this conference when it comes down to when it matters most, not even the Clippers. Though the only real challenge they'll have is if they meet up with the Clippers. Everybody outside of those two are pretenders, and I feel like everyone knows this but for some reason fans love to suspend disbelief.

And depending on how they do in the play-in tournament, they could end up potentially facing them before the conference finals.

They don't want that nor does the league.

They def would rather see them later, and the league would too. But in that case Clippers would take the conference, NBA still wins with an LA market with star power in the championship, especially with the way the Clippers were hyped up the last couple years.

But clippers don’t have the following of lakers. Just cuz in LA don’t mean it’ll bring in viewers. It’s like saying the nfl wants the LA chargers in the super bowl
