:mjlol: at mentioning Gatti, may he rest in piece but let's not act like he wasn't a jobber to the stars his whole career.

Corrales gets this easy, 99.82% the struggle team wasn't following Floyd back then but at the time Chico was looked at kind of how GGG is today. Undefeated and was running through EVERYONE his ko percentage at the time of the Floyd fight was in the 90s or some shyt and Floyd ended up being the one to stop him while dropping him a milllion times in the process.

Corrales was pretty bad
fukked up the relationship with his pops too :francis:
No one beating floyd dat night
Just flawless shyt

My answer is hatton. He talked a whole bunch of shyt and got knocked down in embarassing fashion WHILE the england crowd was chanting his name :francis:

Was never the same after that

Pacquaio is gonna surpass him at this rate though

Faking injuries
Trying to sneak in some injections before the fight
Not thanking God after he lost
Running out of press conferences and being a sore loser

Floyd might have him second guessing his faith :francis:

Did Corrales never fix that relationship?

I was :mjcry: when the announcer was like "thats your father! :damn: "

Best KD on chico was when he went on one knee and did a lil spin I was like :mjlol:

Surprisingly that didn't bother me as much because it only lasted 3 rounds...now Clottey vs a shot Diego at 147? That was worse than what Gomez did to Gatti....:mjcry: sheesh

Couldn't bring myself to watch that fight because I knew what would happen

^^^^This.

Boxing looks back and reforms opinions on guys after the fact.

Corrales was the original "Mayweather Boogeyman".

It was thought that Corrales who at the time was an absolute beast of a fighter would crush Floyd. :comeon:

After that ass whupping Floyd was seen as great but somehow Corrales had questions as to how good he actually was. :what:

nikkas forget Corrales took Robert Garcia "0" and was ko'ing dudes left and right :francis: I remember watching that fight in college and my boy was a HUGE Chico fan and the nikka had the same face Diego had every time he would get dropped :dwillhuh: . To this day I'm still trying to figure out why Chico would keep making that face was it the speed? the power? a combo of both? the fact that he was murdering everyone and never was on the receiving end?

For something similar to Corrales/Floyd today happen GGG would need to move up to 168 body Froch/Dirrell/Groves and catch the beating of his lifetime by Ward.
