If you listen to Ice Cubes track "Summer Vacation," basically in the early 90s the LA drug market got oversaturated, nikkas were getting out of town cuz the beefs were getting out of control, and LAPD was getting mad strict. So alot of bloods and crips had alot connection across the country. It was not like nikkas in Houston,Las Vegas,OKC,NJ,FL etc listened to some westcoast tracks and one day became bloods and crips.

It was gang bangers from LA setting shop across the country to go to untapped drug markets. Basically nikkas moved around. I remember hearing stories back in the 70's of northern drug dealers going down south to set up shop. Some succeeded some failed.
