He ain't got no chance in winning. He's been walking around at over 200lbs for who knows how long. He hasn't been in the ring since December............................................................2013. Shawn Porter dropped him while sparring in preparation for the Alexander fight around that same time and I'm sure not much has changed since then. Now, Ms.Wolfe isn't training him? This is going to play out similar to the Angulo/Canelo fight with a dog coming in drained from cutting weight and the added nuances of ring rust with a lack of a tune-up fight. Oscar and company know what their doing when they feed Ginger the Angulos and Kirklands of the sport. Was surprised they gave Lara a shot even though the judging was bull sh!t and an argument can be made that Lara was potentially robbed.

Man... Lara boxed the first 3 or 4 rounds. He caught that first body shot and ran the rest of the fight. He lost the fight more than Ginger won.

I've watched that fight a couple times now, and while its true that he boxed and outpointed Canelo the first 4 or so, and Canelo winning the middle rounds, the latter rounds were Lara's IMO. Regardless of running, Candelo didn't exactly cut off the ring that well either. I wouldn't have had a problem with a close score for Canelo with the win, but when two judges score it closely, and the other calls is damn near a blowout, there's a problem. With Canelo being GB's sole cash cow at this point, you do the math on why that judge's score was so disproportionate from the other two.

I agree canelo deserved a close decision. LARA dumb ass should have been letting his hands go a little more, but the fight was close, IMO. the BS card of canelo winning wide is obviously fishy, but i still think the right guy got the W.
