What's funny is that would be all it would take to put MS back in the fight. One solid, killer game that's not an FPS.

We going to act like Microsoft don't own the platinum egg laying one trick pony that is Mojang now?

Microsoft's best in no particular order are:

Turn 10
343 Studio's

I don't think any of their studio's are on the level of Naughty Dog (343 has the potential), but I don't think they care :manny:. They've been doing pretty darn well without a large first party stable. Xbox 360 3rd party exclusives outsold Sony first party exclusives last gen.

I feel like the only people on this forum that hate TLOU and think ND is overrated are the 4 XBOT stans. (PS4, Loose, Meach and one other guy forgot his name) Can't be a coincidence..

I mean, even if you prefer xbox, why can't you guys give credit, where credit is clearly due. PS4 stans are the same.. but geez the big 3 Xbot stans all in the same thread discrediting NAUGHTY DOG of all companies. Ridiculous.

Microsoft has a terrible line up of firsT party studios, its just the truth.

Instead of spending money developing studios they just money hat 3rd party games.

Ms stans are going to be feeling some type of way next e3 when those sony studios present all the games theyve been working on.

I thought the owners of Rare sold out and took all the talent with them before handing the name over to Microsoft?

Can't blame MS for that one but they did fumble the opportunity to make Rare just as good as it was in the old days.

They sold the company then basically retired.

Its the same thing as their recent purchase of mojang. Guy who created minecraft left.

Just two more cases of microsoft throwing money around and not knowing what theyre doing.

The Stamper brothers retired. They cashed out, as they were supposed to. Gregg Mayles, creator of Banjo and designer of Donkey Kong Country on the SNES is still at Rare though as are some other people from years past. They aren't entirely bare. I have great hope that Phil Spencer is going to give them something great to work out. All in all, Microsoft first party output, moneyhatted or otherwise, is pretty good.
