whenever some malicious ish gets in my system (which is rare because of noscripts and it's usually only a patch that was detected in a pirated program or game) MSE will catch and and alert me, I then have to make an exception to allow the particular false flagged patch

Breh there's no such thing as an antivirus catching everything. Better to be say than sorry, and have AV+Antispyware. I've done scans where Malwarebytes caught something and MSE didn't catch it and vice versa.
