1. The Falcons game. Cam fumbles, they don't go for it on 4th and 1, defense gives up a a FG.
2. Seattle game Cam misses a wide open GW TD
3. Bears game. Steve smith falls down on the route pass is intercepted, then the defense gives up the GW FG.
4. Bucs game. Defense gives up 17 unanswered points.

They should have won all these games. If they knew how to close a game out they would be 9-5 right now and in the wildcard race.

If they get a coach in there to clean that shyt up, they are good enough to make the playoffs next year.

That is obviously past the typical shoulda coulda woulda that every team has. That speaks to a bigger issue.

Look at the Falcon's record when leading in the fourth, it is almost impeccable, because they are an extremely disciplined team, and discipline comes from the coaching staff. The Panthers don't have that discipline. If they brought in someone to instill that in the team, they are good enough to make the playoffs. They had a top 10 offense last year, this year they have a top 10 defense (yrd/g). If they clean up their finishing problems, there is no reason why they shouldn't be in the playoffs next year.

the 4th qtr part of the game like the 1st 3. do they have bad coaching? yes. will a coaching change help? depends on who they get. but they arent better than the Saints with SP, they aren't better than the Falcons, they are right there with the Bucs fighting for 3rd. they not making the offs anytime soon.
