The move to keep A-Rod on the bench was a disgrace and they never even planned on using him to pinch hit he never took his jacket off. I'm pretty sure he's done for the series. Man the pitching has been solid and these useless hitters can't get out of there on way enough to win 1 of these 3 games it's pathetic. I know changes are almost impossible but I want them I don't know how but you have to try. Ichiro earned his stay in my eyes and I'm sure he will.

I'm really sickened by the dikkriding Darling and Co. gave the Tigers pitching staff as if the Yankees pitching hasn't been just as dominant.
If anything, I'm looking forward to our rotation next season, minus Petitte since he's still up in the air about coming back.

I'm aware you guys had no love for this team, in fact, you guys truthfully shouldn't have beaten the O's. However, getting swept for the first time in 30 some odd years?
Yanks fans/press are perhaps the most spoiled fans in sports. Admit this. You guys have had absolutely awesome teams for majority of the past 20 years.

What does the past have to do with this team not being liked? We're spoiled cause this team was horrible with risp all season and went into a similar offensive talespin Losing a ten game lead ?
the media and the fans saw this team looking one and done for months. The only grace was the orioles were worse last series and didn't have a ace .Yet we still drew 3.5 million fans this season more than the tigers ( and this was a down year mind you ) this team wasnt exciting and the park is getting less fan friendly .

I really don't know what's the deal here. they can't buy him out. he's here for the foreseeable future.
this is what the front office gets for being greedy. they saw the HR record, they saw dollar signs, now they're tryna save face by making their puppet...................er..................manager put him as the poster boy of the team's failures.
Its very confusing guess we have to await girardis book when he retires . And girard being unlikable and binder driven don't help at least Torre could sway the media while girardi can't

The only way to get rid of A-Rod will be to package him with some talent, pick up some money or take a bad contract like Crawford back.

Can't get Crawford back. Contract states that if Sox traded him, that team cannot trade him to us.
I think we're stuck with him. It's 5 guaranteed years with potential performance bonuses (HR milestones) we're talking about...not just 1 or 2.
Maybe Ca$hman can find a way though...who knows.
