Going forward in to the next season what do you have to prove that his back will affect him? Having surgery on your back does not mean he can't go back to his old form. This is 2012 not the 90s, there is no evidence one way or the other as to what is the status of his back. Only the lakers office knows and they aren't dumb enough to trade for a guy who will chill on the bench all season.

I agree with you the technology and knowledge has improved. But I can tell you for certain even the doctor that preformed the surgery doesn't know whether or not Dwight's back will ever be the same. Dude might be forever scarred or he could be stronger, only time will tell

true but back injuries are recurring most of the time not saying he's Finished . He also said he can't run yet

I'm happy for the lakers I didn't want the nets to get him. And with the back thing just a few weeks ago said he's not even running and now Stephen A saying Dwight won't be ready til jan or feb
