If you disregard Jones' D/Q against Montell Griffin, Roy was 49-0 before losing to Tarver. How come I had to find this out through wikipedia? Why haven't boxing fans discussed this?:wtf:

Roy should have retired when his athleticism was falling off. He was being compared to the all time greats until that Tarver KO, and shyt just went downhill from there. Then again, he fukked up his money, so that's mainly why he kept fighting.:manny:

He had no fighter to push him, he could have had a decent legacy if he stopped getting KTFO all the time. He relied to much on his natural gifts, when they started to go his fundamentals particularly his defensive evasiveness were complete shyt.

So James Toney, Bernard Hopkins, and Vinny Paz were nobodies?

Roy's the best fighter of the last 30 years. Better than Floyd, better than Tyson, better than Pac.

Bhop wasnt the same Bhop then..I'll give you Lights Out but Paz was on the downslide. I didnt say he didnt fight ANYBODY..i said he fougth a lot of cans..which he has.

in what reality is 55-8 = 49-0 ?

plus,

how do you just exclude a loss? maybe we should exclude lebron loss to the mavs?

Loss 34–1 United States Montell Griffin DQ 9 (12), 2:27 1997-03-21
Reason: Disqualified for hitting a downed opponent.<== shouldnt have done that
