Pacific Rim is fukking dope.
The fights were :gladbron:
I'm a big fan of the kaiju genre and this delivered and some.

If you like summer action movies, I see no reason why you shouldn't see this.

I hope Godzilla is as dope as this or better. I can only imagine how fights with King Ghidorah, Rodan, Mothra, and Gigan would be if the movie makes a profit.

Ill give you the acting and dialog but how much of a plot do you need in a movie about giant robots fighting giant monsters? Monsters are bad so they need their asses whipped, thats pretty much the only plot thats needed.

Movie delivered on the only thing it needed to which is robots kicking ass. Hell they should have added more of that and deleted some talking.

Besides Gojira, Kaiju genre has always been about the action. Serious acting need not to apply.

Can't wait to peep it in 3D next

shyt was fire.

I could only ask for more monster and robot fighting, and less people time, but thats the easy way out,

Cot damn that cgi was good.

The I in Team
Just came back and my one complaint is you can't burn trees in the theatre. If you could... :lawd:. Just seeing the jaegers and kaiju slamming into buildings..:ohlawd:. The fights were epic. Cant front on the action. I wanted to see giant robots fight monsters and dammit I got it.:pachaha:

Is this worth going to see in LieMAX for the extra $$$? My legit IMAX isn't showing this for whatever reason. If not, I'm gonna just go see it in the regular theater :manny: 3D isn't that important to me

I saw it at a LIEMax and it was dope.

Problem with the acting parts... (well not to me I enjoyed the human fight scenes)
Is all those dudes are well known on tv

Charlie day
Idris elba
Charlie hunnam - (he even walks like jax teller in this)

If you had a channum tatum in this, the movie would have been worse. He just doesn't come across as a dude who would work well with del toro

that scene where Raleigh is in mako's thoughts, gypsy danger is about to blow up the whole complex by mistake..... Just the scale of her alone in a demolished city.... The size of that Kaiju.... Then that camera pans around and you Idris Elba coming out the top of the jagger..... That's another thing though, maybe it was cause I was high but I thought the human parts were good. Making a master say goodbye to a dog for the last time, that makes me sad, Idris Elba dying slowly from radiation poisoning... Mako basically having to say goodbye to her 2nd dad....... I just think if the Rift is closed... .. Might as well killed off Raliegh
