My girl is much more sympathetic to #NewBlack shyt than I am, but 5 min she was like "you can turn to something else if you want"
I'm on Twitter and seeing people talking about they're dying laughing and I'm like
i found myself yawning at a lot of her material too
most of her jokes sounded like podcast topics
forced into standup punchlines
i still think she's a entertaining personality at the end of the day
I was able to watch the standup special. It wasn’t bad, she hit on topics and the audience enjoyed it.It wasn’t wack nor was it horrible. She hit on topics that she wanted to speak about and gave her perspective on it. I understood where she was coming from so I can respect it.Did I laugh? Not really, I may have chuckled twice but that’s just me. I do the same at most other standup specials.
That's not a comedy show, go listen to a podcast then, dont put that crap on hbo. did you even grow up on the greatest comics, my goodness.
I am way funnier than this chick and a lot of comics and I'm not even a professional, shyt is sad.
Do you have a fan base?
Is anyone paying to see you speak?
No but I have stage presence. I have done drama plays and speeches in front of large audiences since elementary school, that shyt is nothing. I have no problems with stage fright cause I was groomed from a little kid to be on stage. If I get into a roast battle with amanda face to face, she doesn't have a chance. She will go home and hide under the bed for weeks, real talk.
It ain't really that dirty, tbh.
You've never been to Camden, NJ or a Native American reservation?
The hood part of Anniston Alabama?
Again...Do you have a fan base?Is anyone paying to see you speak?Do you have audiences if people who care and pay to see you speak. Are you paid to make anyone laugh?
I saw earlier on IG that she sang the black national anthem with the crowd
Sounds like a TED talk. I was under the impression that stand up comedy was meant to be funny.I was able to watch the standup special.
