Yeah...Nothing major (troubleshooting with customers/internal helpdesk, ticketing...Nothing to to call home to mama about really) BUT I have colleagues who work at the NOC in my organization who have NO certs making salary (55K) and have discussed their NEED to get JUST the CCNA just to have leverage on their bosses...Every shop is different but it's never too far out of reach and the dough is waiting on us!!!

Just copped it! I feel u breh. Right now at my gig i make 60k a year with a little Ot here and there but this is not something i see myself doing as i hit them flabby years so while im still open to learn new shyt i gotta try to make that career switch.

Even if i can get a help desk job at 50k but only 40hrs a week with a steady shift im making the job move

Those help with CompTIA A+ certs. Which is the first cert you need to start off with I believe
