I got a question. Let's say I want to major in Software engineering but don't want to go deep into that Computer Science theory. I just want to master the tools that developers use nowadays. For example cloud computing, APIs, etc.Right now until the 27th

what are some other tools I should look into?
Then you don't want a job . That stuff is essential and mostly a prerequisite during the interview process. The best you could hope for early on would be a web dev job, and even then you'd probably need to know some of that stuff to make jt through that interview process. Some fields you can shortcut, but this isn't one of them.I got a question. Let's say I want to major in Software engineering but don't want to go deep into that Computer Science theory. Thanks a lot it was silly of me to assume that you could just skip over those courses. I was also wondering what topics I should look into. For example cloud computing, API's, parallel computing (as you mentioned) etc. I appreciate the helpThen you don't want a job . That said, look into Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Jenkins, Git, AWS or Azure or GCP to a much lesser extent, Golang, Python, Bash, C++ and/or Java, SQL, NoSQL like Cassandra DB (I think), any parallel computing concepts.
Topics in school or through Udemy? Thanks a lot it was silly of me to assume that you could just skip over those courses. I was also wondering what topics I should look into. For example cloud computing, API's, parallel computing (as you mentioned) etc. I appreciate the help
Udemy. I just bought a course on AWS, APIs and Azure. I'm looking at what else to buy. Ill buy topucs related to Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Jenkins, Git somewhere down the line. I'm not really looking to buy any courses about programming languages since I can just use google for that. Any other Udemy courses you recommend?Topics in school or through Udemy?
Nope. Your best bet is to look at a job posting that interests you and see exactly what they require, then work from there.Udemy. I just bought a course on AWS, APIs and Azure.
