Jay's voices many wise words and portrays deep understanding of how the world works..and isnt afraid to share it in conversation and song..which is why most new and old artists co sign and bac him up
its only idiotic on the outside looking in ass nikkaz who believe in dumfck illuminati conspiracy videos that think that other sht
This is why I just wanted to lurk this thread.
All stan shyt aside. Mfers always draw parralells between uncommon shyt (Jay & Illuminati) that requires a LOT more imagination and less facts, than the truth (Jay & 5%ers) which requires a lot LESS imagination, connecting of dots that may not be there, etc...
A nikka will overlook the blatant references in his music, the messages he tries to convey at times as well as the image/standard/role he's set in the African American / Hip-Hop culture...And anything else that could be seen as a positive reinforcement of 5% influence...And straight ignore it.
Then turn around and link it to something like the Illuminati, which they don't even fully understand or have full knowledge of. You knock the nikka b/c he's getting astronomical paper, being fiscally responsible (to himself & his family...ALL that he's technically obligated to look out for), and making money, cash hoes songs. But if Jay was dead prez, he wouldn't be who he is. At some point, you gotta look at the bigger picture.
I'm perfectly fine with someone breaking the mold and playing by THEIR rules a little, as long as it's acknowledged in some form or fashion what he represents, or what side he's on (which he's doing with the blatant 5% references and imagery). If he stuck to God Body & positive rhymes that poorly translate to radio or sales, sure, he would've stayed true to himself, but the dichotomy is that he wouldn't ever reach his full potential or globally push the culture. If anything, Gods should be ecstatic at the fact that we have one of the most recognizable, revered, and respected MC's/Businessmen/Moguls that has his hands in every facet of the entertainment industry, that we can look back and say...he's one of ours.
At the foundation of 5% teachings, there's an ideology of "thinking outside of the box", and pushing your mind to it's limits of critical thinking and problem solving. Oftentimes the result of so much of that, is eventually thinking outside of the "box" that is the ideology of the Five Percent Nation of Islam. So to move in a manner that less understanding God's wouldn't approve of may strike a chord with them, but the underlying fact is that as the God of his own Universe who actually REALIZES that that's what he is...who would you, as another God be, to tell him he's Now Cypher?
Peace to the real ones.
