Just saw it on bluray (downloaded). The movie wasn't as bad as people were making it out to be. I don't understand why people are being harshly critical.

Because it was fukking terrible, the villain was soooooo fukking corny, the story wasn't anything special, the fight scenes were decent tho.. I hadn't looked at any reviews before going in, I actually thought it would be a decent film, but I was extremely disappointed..

I'm only 25 minutes into the movie right now. I went to sleep after originally posting that.

This movie definitely feels like a rip-off of a bunch different Sci-fi movie franchises.
:mjlol:The Brothas from Movietrailerreviews.com (1 of them is a SOHH vet) pointed out the movies & fairy tales this movie ripped-off in their Audio Review:

Okay, the movie actually looks sorta good but two things...

Channing Tatum looks :flabbynsick: with that hair color and goatee. Just an awful look altogether.

"I love dogs, I've always loved dogs." :what:

That line might actually be the worst line I've ever heard in my entire life for real. How that got past the initial brainstorming phase, into the screenplay, then filmed and left into the movie has to be some kind of cosmic joke. And then they put it at the most important point of the trailer like it's all good. :mjlol:

I think it's a profound line, hidden message though.

Just seen the promo. I love SciFi and I am not hype for this at all.:shaq2: fukking love stories need to stay out of action movies

It's relevance was revealed in the end when he showed his wings

The fact that it touches on a lot of things that I feel to have truth to it, I'm interested in this movie.

Wouldn't be the first time a movie told the truth and dressed it up as a movie to easily be debunked..

A very important and informative film:yeshrug:
While very difficult to follow it revealed the demonic force that will rule the world. The film speaks plainly, if you up on the word

Every sci-fi movie damn near is based on the bible, you can have all those elements, but if it's not an exciting plot with strong protagonist/antagonist it won't be entertaining

but just like the exodus movie, until the show the alien creators are black as they really are, and they already know

I had a script with all the concepts from this movie, but they wanted me to change my main character to from black to white, and this was an asian producer, I of course said no

Funny thing is, it was around 2012/13 when I had pitched this, and one of the main characters was a genetically engineered mercenary who worked for a wealthy owner of planets

the reptoids, greys, and all that shyt been in every sci-fi movie
all that conspiracy shyt ain't new, even the Hancock male and female aliens are straight out those conspiracy theories

it's all about how put things together

star wars is based on a war in the orion star system, which is why it says a long time ago in a galaxy far far away

they studied the ancient texts by proxy from white washed civilizations

I can't make out what they are discussing. The guy sounded like he didn't want to elaborate on it much & is mumbling. Can you explain?
