THANK YOU

Exactly what I said orginally. And I'm from and currently reside in Flatbush Brooklyn. NO ONE is listening to UK drill but a lot of nikkas that rap will use UK producers for the beats. I don't know why @GrindtooFilthy can't understand this :snoop:
I'm not saying its the majority but how you think they even came across the producers.

The beat is fire :yeshrug: would sound better without Brits on it though :manny:

Y'all think every Brooklyn nikka with a deep voice sounds British :mjlol: said the same thing about Sheff G when he dropped No Surburban. had the nikka do a collaboration with some trash UK nikka smh
nikka Boston and new york we deadass sound alike. I knew Sheff g was from Brooklyn he don't have that nasal palate London brehs have sometimes

breh uk drill tracks are doing serious numbers.
and that's why youtube is canceling them with the quickness

the beat is from a uk producer supposedly

most bk nikkas in the street know nothing about ukdrill

cats just gravitate towards what beats they feel are fire

*
In the st they don't but these college folks especially if they under 25 and African with fam back home know the deal
i think the vocal similarities folks pick up is the caribbean african accents blended up in both locations*
and this is really the it right here

I promise you most nikkas in Brooklyn can't even name ONE uk artist let alone copy their shyt :mjlol:
I'm not saying they copied but a good chance if you carribeans or African you have fam in London and might have gone to see them and pick up some stuff and brought it Back. It happens

These new age folks are going global especially the younger ones the age of the internet has allowed people to see the other side

That's true, but only a fraction of these dudes--usually Jamaican--have fam over there. Most of these dudes are Ados, Haitian, Panamanian etc also. And an even smaller percentage actually traveled even outside of the tri-state area.

They don't even really listen to foreign local shyt on the internet. Only whoever is hot mainstream or in our city.

Hell, I WISH they'd copy some uk shyt. At least it would be different from all this Chicago drill shyt.
I can't understand how these nikkas could see the success of 69, Bobby Shmurda, A-Boogie, but still wanna do drill :mindblown:

I hate this Brooklyn drill shyt so much.

I'm wooK but Bobby and Rowdy really had better music.

90 percent of the drill shiit is down right awful from a rapping perspective, beats are fire, vids are usually lit.

Sheff G, Sleepy Hollow, 22 are actually good. Pop Smoke can make songs(gotta give him that).

And then we have Envy Caine, who is on another level from all those others. But it's clear dude is being black balled and frozen out by certain people.

Dude can't even get a Kay Slay interview/freestyle. And Kay will give anyone a shot. It's a shame, cause dude is clearly the best young rapper NYC has produced for a while.

It's the only way they can get lit. Look at Fivio, dude was making regular music for a while, didn't do any numbers. As soon he started making G D K shiit, he doing millions
