Anybody who said torrents arent safe dont know wtf they doing...I been using torrents for 5 years straight after giving up on P2P bullshyt programs and nothing has ever happened....Not even a virus...And no i dont seed...Im the definition of a leecher

if ur seeding like 1kbs and the downloader only got like 15mb of a 2gb film off of u by the time the movie finishes downloading can u still get arrested for that shyt?

when they wanna catch someone it doesnt matter really. theyll just dump the list of seeding/leeching ip addresses and send the letters to all of those addresses via your ispif ur seeding like 1kbs and the downloader only got like 15mb of a 2gb film off of u by the time the movie finishes downloading can u still get arrested for that shyt?

Its happening. Most of my favorite spots are getting blocked on my isp. I have to work around it

They'd send you multiple on top of mulitple letters. Then they would just cut your service off.
The ONLY people they would be going after are the ppl who put the movies out there to be shared. Not the sharers.
Now if they put out a bootleg movie with a tracking virus in it? Then they might go after you, but that is only for new releases for Major movies. Think Star Wars or some shyt (they actually did do it for that movie)
But once again, we know who the real uploaders are. Fakes get recognized by the community immediately and they warn you to not fukk with them.

seeders get it worse but there have been TONS of cases of people getting caught using torrents just to leech.
and yea like ive said honeypots happen for hot shyt. I wouldnt touch a public tracker hot new movie/game that has just leaked for a couple of weeks.
I do agree that with common sense precautions one should be fine tho. one of these precautions is to wait for new shyt to cool down and be reported safe.

I do know one dumbass who downloaded a torrent movie on a college network
almost got kicked out.otherwise I dont know anyone in person but you can always google shyt, it got real names. not urban legends.
Im not scared of shyt, and "changing ips" doesnt really work unless youre using a strictly anonymous non-us based proxy. if they want to get your ip they will get it, end of story.

Don't know and don't care I've been feasting off Torrents for years 2 laptops ( 300gb a piece) and 4 external hd (500gb, 640gb, 1TB, and 2TB) all damn near filled from torrents.
