I can understand why they wouldn't wanna do that future war movie, they would need a strong lead to keep the interest. That's def where Salvation fell flat to me, They didn't give Bale anything to do and they were pushing that dude too strong at the time

that's not on the writers, if memory serves me worrington was suppose to be Connor whilst bale was suppose to be a terminator but before he agreed to be apart of it he had the characters reversed and the script rewritten. Now in the new terminator they have an Aussie playing John Connor/terminator/liquid metal hybrid and Kyle Reese. Dont know what the fascination is but it's whatever
