yes because there are a slew of other NBA games out at the same time as 2K. As soon as EA stopped making NBA games they got lazy and started making garbage and even before then last truly good bball game was 2k9 and even that wasnt on par as a NBA Live 2005. You can go ahead and accept mediocrity but I wont.
