And that should play zero roll on the voting of a player
It should'nt but they hold grudges.
Bonds will be remembered more than 90% of the players in the Hall regardless. I know what I saw watching him play. I ain't seen Pete Rose but I still know more about his greatness than other players from his time. I think the media overrates the hall.
On a side note some of the fringe players are better off being the best not to make it instead of being Hall of famer #4124 (see Art Monk).

Only way this is justified is if MLB puts an asterisk next to the Yankees & Redsox World Series wins and the owners give back all the hundreds of millions of dollars they made off these steroid users.
Matter fact, any writer with a HOF vote who helped hype up Sosa and Mac instead of exposing what was going on should lose their vote and give back any journalism awards they received.
Its mad hypocritical that everybody is eating off these guys and trying to disown them at the same time.
