Nas dropped one of the best albums in recent memory. As much as I don't like him, Jay-z name is buzzing thanks to the nets and watch the throne. Sean price is dropping another Brooklyn banger. Action Bronson, ASAP rocky, smoke dza, French Montana, Joey badass, countless others coming out. nikkas hate on NY for no reason. Still salty from decades old beefs and attitudes. Meanwhile NY doesn't care. We do features with every and anyone and get money and love. We apologize for back in the day when our radios wouldn't play your records. Get over it. New times new names new era in music. Regions don't matter. Just get money

Let's see

Wu tang is from Staten Island

Nas is from queens so is LL

And rakim is from Long Island so....?

And what's wrong with people moving in? Ok prices rise, rent rises but that's life. Rather have safe hipsters than thugs I gotta keep my windows and doors locked for. Times change. Things never last forever.

So Nas dropped an AOTY contender, Sean Price is bout to drop and he could possible drop an AOTY contender.

Cali got TDE :dj2: Q, Soul & K. Dot all dropped AOTY contenders

The south had Currensy & Big Mike. Currensy's is a good album, Big Mike got an AOTY contender.

Not sure what your trying to say. NY looks fine to me

Action Bronson(who?), ASAP rocky(GAY), smoke dza(Who?), French Montana(Wack as fukkk, Free Max B), Joey badass(Who?), countless others coming out. nikkas hate on NY for no reason. El-P is from NY, he has an album of the year contender with his solo. Also that Iron Fists soundtrack is basically a Wu compilation, so there's another one. And Masta Ace had a dope album too. Add that with Life is Good, and you have 4 quality albums from NY. I didn't hear more than 4 quality albums from the west, so what are we talking about here.
Edit: forgot O.C., so that's 5.

Trolls. Yet you ignore the entire second part of my post saying all this hate is a waste. No wonder y'all hold on to a grudge that happened 20 years ago almost.

Men lie...women lie....but the numbers dont....according to Forbes, 3 out of 5 of the top 5 richest Hip Hop figures for 2012 are from NY

Richest Rappers 2012 – Forbes Wealthiest Hip-Hop Artists 2012 | Celebrity Net Worth

According to Forbes, NY is eating the best....

If the threadstarter is refering to musical influence......Then that doesnt even count because the labels dictate who gets the most rotation....This thread topic has too many holes.
