Nah this happens all the time when the play clock doesn't reset correctly...like...it literally happens multiple times per game...

You can always tell when it happens if you are at a live game because the QB will usually go ballistic...

I remember years ago romo left the huddle and yelled right in a ref grill :mjlol:

Was hoping this was a thread about the patriots defensive linemen simulating a snap count to draw the steelers off sides but i guess that was to slick for other people to notice it...:mjlol:

Been watching football for a long time and never noticed the add time gesture. I'll take the L here...just something I never noticed I guess.

But yeah Ben was pissed about the Pats calling out the shift.

Now that is something different...yes ben had a right to be pissed if they did that on purpose to get the line to jump around the goaline, and especially if they were barking out "hut hut" during his cadence.

I'm not sure if they did that because they always have a ref right where the linebackers are to catch that bullshyt, but from watching that game Ben ran right to the refs when it happened and they still called false start.

Idk mane..these patriots just love playing dirty pool :manny:

I ain't even a Pats fan but :martin: Every QB in the league does this when they want the officials to reset the play clock. If the clock wasn't right the refs bump it back to 25, and some times the clock is fine so they leave it alone.

What's next? "I was watching the game and Brady made a 'T' sign with his hands and the clock stopped. How does the NFL let them get away with stopping the clock like that?" :dead:

Ben a idiot. He even said he's seen them do it before and they still fell for it. They're a poorly coached team and it showed. Pats been doing that shift on the goal line for at least 3 years and they're not the only team that does it but I'm sure now someone else will complain about the pats doing it then changed the rule. As far as calling out a fake cadence I doubt it. They fell for it n Ben did like every athlete does n blames the other team.

I wouldn't call it a poorly coached team. I think you can shift but Ben was arguing that they shifting during his cadence...If that is the case then the defense can "fake fire off" all day and never get called for it. We all know on the goal line everyone is antsy and ready to go so I can't blame this line for jumping. You can clearly tell that they reacted to the defensive live shifting. If their isn't a rule on this then there will be one next season just like with the illegal formations they used against the ravens. That's what Harbaugh was screaming about the entire game but the refs didn't do anything. He was very pissed about it after the game and in the off season the rule changed and now you can't do that shyt no more.

That is what Ben was arguing about.

This patriots can never just play straight up, they always gotta do some shaky ass shyt along with fukking with these headsets. I can see why they like 55-4 at home. They always bending the rules.
