And Michael Keaton in Birdman...its gonna be the tightest race in a long time between Keaton and Carell, but I don't think Gylenhall has a chance since his material is so dark.
Official trailer released today. Steve Carell is a cool cat, he's come a long way from 40 Year Old Virgin. And who the f is Michael Scott?
Fall is the best time for movies.

is it just me or is the makeup comical breh. farrell and old receeded hairline ruffalo got meThe trailers have me engaged as hell, but something about Carell's performance is throwing me off. Maybe it's an inability on my part to forget his past comedic roles, but every time I hear his voice I'm waiting for the punchline. I don't doubt his ability to do a serious drama in the slightest because he's proven to be a great actor, but I'm gonna have to see more than the trailers to get hype for his performance. I already now Ruffalo is gonna kill it, and I can see a lot of people forgetting that they hated Channing Tatum after this one too.
his voice sounds really different though from his normal tone he speaks with in comedy filmsThe trailers have me engaged as hell, but something about Carell's performance is throwing me off. That's what I'm getting at, though. From the trailers it seems like an impersonation as opposed to him being in character. Again, it might just be me typecasting him in my head and it's just a trailer. I have no doubt he'll kill his role, but Ruffalo, Tatum and the story this is based on are what I'm most hype about at the momenthis voice sounds really different though from his normal tone he speaks with in comedy films
