But this is legit :damn: :damn: :damn:

How can the damn North Pole ever reach 100 degrees at any given point of the calendar year!?!? Those Polar Bears gonna drop dead real fast in that heat.

It's not the North Pole, it's a Russian town called Verkhoyansk

The previous record was 88°F in 1987.

It's supposed to be 68°F this time of year there.

I'm just saying worse case scenario all this was lies but we end up with fresher smelling air and tap water that tastes like it's from a spring.
best case scenario they were right and we save the fukking planet.

I can understand of you are an automotive company worried about selling electric cars over diesel affecting your bottom line, but nobody else should really give a fukk. better safe, than sorry i say.

The highest temperature ever recorded in Alaska occurred in Fort Yukon on June 27, 1915, when it reached 100 °F or 37.8 °C. This was also the highest temperature recorded north of the Arctic Circle until June 20, 2020, when it was finally exceeded by a 38 °C or 100.4 °F reading at Verkhoyansk, a location similarly known for its extremely continental climate.

feeling that ship to avert catastrophic climate change has already sailed. tipping points have already been breached. there is no turning back. it only gets worse from here.
humanity might become hunter gatherers again in about 50 years or so...
That was going to happen regardless, Antarctica wasn't all ways a frozen landscape, this isn't something humans control that much, weve weve pro have had an affect for like a few hundred years while climate has been changing for billions

The fact that we know climates change regardless of what we do makes me go:yeshrug:

We like to pretend our effect on the planet is more than it really is. Like the Sahara used to be a Savannah. TF we pretending like we know if this is normal or not :mjlol:

All we do know is that our Fossil fuels fukk the air quality up but, the earth don't give a fukk bout us. It will do what ever it was gonna do regardless of what we do.

Climate change aka fukkin up the environments where we built our cities. We die out from fukkin up our built environment then the earth just goes back to normal until another intelligent species with thumbs does the same.
