Hmmm....that's crazy. That's never mentioned in the short story but it's obviously the inspiration for it.

"Taken 2" TAKES the Box Office with 18.6 Million Friday, estimated 45 Million OW. Once again this proves that Critics don't know jack sh!t about how to judge action movies. They always over analyze flicks like this. I saw it last night with a sold out crowd. It was a pretty good sequel. Followed all the sequel rules. Yes it wasn't better than Part 1 but that bar was a really high one. Liam has stepped right into Harrison Ford's role as the seasoned Action Hero. I think they should "Taken 3" but this time have a high level government person taken. And him and his team come out of retirement to save him. But good sequel. LOL @ Critics, SMH @ them thinking audiences care about their opinions. Audiences go to films they want to see period. They wanted to see "Taken 2".

dont understand the bad reviews for this flick. you get exactly what you're expecting, a quality action flick, dope chase/combat/gunfight scenes

i like that shootout scene where dude starts spraying bullets in every which way he can and liam just pops up out of cover with one shot to the dome and the dude falls like 5 stories down

Yea that was dope as well as the Car Chase. And the whole part when they 1st get taken, they did a good job setting that up. Liam said he did all his own fights. He went in. I love the character "MILLS". He's smart and very skillful. But not on some wild cartoon ish like Bond, Mission Impossible and even Borne. I think Mills is the most realistic spy/secret agent in film.

Critics always looking for some great performances in an Action flick. "Taken 2" did it job, Liam kicked some A$$ and everyone still ate it up.
Yeah that shyt peaked with The Grey, he needs to get back to doing more dramatic roles or he's gonna risk being the Johnny Depp of Action movies....

Not really, your telling me all the people he killed in Part 1 and nobody would retaliate? they were just going to let that sh!t slide? Of course someone was going to come back and try to kill him sadly they underestimated his particular set of skills again, lol. But "Taken 1" does stand alone as single movie. Most trilogies stand alone. "Terminator" could of stopped after Part 1, same with "Star Wars" and "The Matrix". I don't hate Sequels all the time, yes Hollywood does over do it but sometimes it cool to see the character again. I like Mills as a character. He's a really smart guy.
Yea I think this sequel worked, its rare that we actually get to see the repercussions of what happens in movies where the hero builds up crazy body counts.
However I dunno if a part 3 will work, even though old dude did say his other sons would come for Mills I can't see them adding anything else to the story.

I'm telling people. "TAKEN 3" can be hard body. Here's my take on what they could do. Have a very high level government official taken. Maybe a President or Vice or something. Have it set in South America this time. Then the government contacts Mills cause they know his skills and assign him and his team to come out of retirement to save him. Or they could have one of Mills team members family member get taken forcing him to help him out. There are a few places they could go with it. I just don't want it to end here, I like this character and think they can squeeze out one more film. Just not have anything to do with his family or the family of the people he killed in 1 and 2 coming back for more revenge. Liam said they had to convince him to do this one and that he's not sure he will do another one but that was before this HUGE Weekend at the Box Office. They weren't expecting 50 Million OW, this is a very popular series now. I'm sure for 15-20 Liam will change his mind.
