Old school marvel fans love Thor but I kind of always felt like he shouldn't be in the marvel universe. Very out of place to have a norse god in this universe, and then they always give him plotlines that remind us that he isn't actually a god and all this other shyt.
So yeah I'm like you I mostly ignore Thor outside of the the MCU.
Yea whats up with asgardians in the marvel comic universe? I remember seeing that they were some of the first creations of the celestials along with the eternals thats why they so powerful etc. is Odin still around in the comics?

With no T'challa in the MCU, expect Storm to be banging Wolverine when they reboot the X men since they've already done the Jean Grey Cyclops Wolverine love triangle in the fox movies.Rumor has it, Storm will be Thor's new love interest.

I was never interested in seeing a T’Challa/Storm romance in the movies either way.
Would they be having wedding anniversaries on zoom? Would Storm go live in Wakanda right away, depriving the X-men of one of their dopest characters and leaders? Or would Black Panther pack his bags and go live in the X-mansion?
That would have been cool as the characters send off, but going into that right away would have messed with the basic premise of both characters too much too soon. Both are dope characters, but Storm is more than just Black Panther’s trophy wife.
They need to dive deep into the Claremont era and let Ororo be her own character first before they go straight into her getting wifed up.

After they obviously go for the great white hope based xmen. Instead of claremont's storm lead xmen. With forge in the mix.
They already setting up for the cash grab. From not knowing the products they acquired. Plus and no, i do not wanna hear about feige being some marvel expert. As real talk. They really ain't about to revenue grab with the wrong content.
Where it plays out the same way revenue grabbing in the nineties went for large comic book companies. Meaning they are gonna fail if they were not image, top guys. As the marvel universe has nuffin but oftputting stories of low quality.

So, let them keep up this revenue grab great whte hope based agenda. While never once making marvel movies about the stories that made marvel marvel.

This whole idea of beginning this film franchise around crossovers is going to bring the end of this party just like the nineties. As it is based on low quality and tying to revenue grab and mine an era that the spreadsheet can not inform you is poison.
Someone from the era has to be on board and inform you this.
