if he is a problem and derailing threads put him on ignore.

I don't see how putting him on ignore is gonna stop him from derailing threads. unless everyone puts him on ignore, and then if the whole site has him on ignore... yeah...

for the record I'm not saying he should be flat-out banned or whatever. but maybe a warning/suspension. for that matter, a lot of people here have said how they feel about his constant posting, but it doesn't seem to slow him down at all. for a poster that thinks of himself as being so 'positive' or whatever, that seems rather disrespectful. it's like when white posters are told many times people aren't cool with them dropping the n-bomb, and then they keep doing it

you're right you have you think of HL in a classroom setting. say you are in school and you have a student that is being disruptive it definitely need to be checked, i think he has become to overwhelmed in his actions.

sometimes entertaining cats like that even though i think he is positive only makes it worse. normal i ignore cats like that but you dont want a good thread to become a shytty one with stuff like that. ive seen it here and ive seen it elsewhere and shyt is tried

I look at every setting that Im in as a classroom. If you cant learn via the mundane you cant learn at all.

Derailments occur in life all the time, especially by moronic comments that are irrelevant to the framework of discussion..but no one calls people on it because they just wanna be nice.

On the other hand, derailments and moronic statements are equally entertaining as they are stupifying..and in higher learning..the better one can look through the fog and see the light, the source of the light, and the direction of the light, then the more precise their comprehension skills are on a case to case basis, focused and evolving via micromanagement of information into substantive conceptual understanding.

Out.

i honestly dont understand why dudes do this. i remember back in high school and this is many years ago. when my peers would be disruptive the teacher would turn the discussion on them, half if not the majority of time. it show that the person was lacking in knowledge as it pertain to said subject
