So Sheamus Is A 4-Time Champ, and The Miz Is The Most Decorated Champion Of The Past Decade???

I will say this about the Miz, he was red hot summer of 2016 after the talking smack with Bryan. They should have pulled the trigger and gave him the strap at Summerslam that year instead of Dolph vs Ambrose, he would have had nuclear heat and would of intensified the tension between him and Bryan .

He flopped HARD upon his debut and was a disaster. Flubbing lines, not good at the in-ring side, etc.

Breh just put in the work. Reinvented himself and his look, cleaned up his in-ring ability. He said yes to promotional opportunities (WWE rewards those extra mile types unless your skin has melanin) and is relevant in pop culture with his hosting/reality show and whatever. He realized what the WWE values in their people/superstars and became that.

The Miz is a very hard worker who figured out the rules of the game. It is what it is.

This is the Miz's issue. He's too one dimensional. He can only be a shoot heel for so long before it gets tiring. Especially, when it's softball material. Miz can catch fire, and his storytelling ability in the ring can really hide his lack of athleticism and wrestling skills. It's just not enough for him to be a consistent mainstream star. He is a horrible face and he can't really be anything else than Generic face or Generic Hell in nice suits unless he does a shoot on someone's personal life.

Miz doesn't suck, he's actually good at a specific role. The problem is when they book and booked him outside of it. He is objectively very good at being an annoying midcard heel who beats low level guys, and gets people excited to see get squashed by a top guy or a guy they are trying to make a top guy. The problem has been that they've booked him like a psycho heel who beats top guys by cheating, and given him way too many matches beyond what his level on the card should be.

He's basically Disco Inferno. If you use him right, he helps the show, but if you oush him as a top guy in matches the show is built around, it's not gonna work.

Wcw would NEVER put the belt on Disco, or have him facing top guys in a gatekeeper role for a decade. If there were crowds, Otis would get booed out the building by now with that shytty angle. Strowman too. Miz has had the worst year of his career currently. I think if he was good as his job as a heel gatekeeper, Otis would be more popular

please explain how.

hes AEW Dark status at best if he didnt go from the mtv real world to vince mcmahon.

Short version: He's done everything the company has asked of him and whether you like him or not (I'm not a fan of his at all), they see him as a good corporate ambassador to events.

Long Version: John Laurinaitis was absolute garbage at talent development/relations which set the company back years. Say what you want about Triple H, but he arguably saved the WWE talent-wise (the shytting writing doesn't take away the talent of the wrestlers) by eventually going after indy talent to stock up NXT. Laurinaitis basically only went after people that fit Vince's image without considering talent, charisma, etc. Miz, Sheamus, and Ziggler are as decorated as they are because they rose to the top in a talent pool that was shyt.

even with that, they still had better options within that garbage talent pool.

r-truth carried that team with the miz, but couldnt even get one transitional run and was eventually relegated to being a walking minstrel show. meanwhile, the miz gets a WWE title run(s) and the most decorated championship resume of the '10s withjin the company.

i aint even mad at Ziggler. i mean, im sure his stats are prolly padded but hes at least good at his craft.
