People are watching nightly news. All them racist FOX shows are doing the best numbers they ever had, you have to think that's some of WWE's audience (and AEW's audience, no stan shyt). CNN and MSNBC are doing well too.

Plus u imagine during all this probably even more cord cutting is taking place. So between nightly news and Netflix that's where these people gravitated to

It's about context, you can't compare those numbers to what they used to be. Even right now with no crowds in the middle of a pandemic the only original non CNN/FOXN programming outdoing Raw consistently is 90 day fiance, and the only one out doing wrestling on Wednesday's (NXT & AEW) was Survivor on CBS and now The Challenge on MTV.

No matter how low the cable TV bar gets with cord cutting and streaming wrestling always lingers near the top. That's why these networks hand out multi-year deals without hesitating, no matter how trash the product becomes.
