Yes slowly. This didn’t happen overnight. Stoney came out and did like 50K first week. He wasn’t big then I think most just looked at him as a novelty act. I remember you couldn’t find many publications even reviewing that album now he’s all over every piece of media.

But the album and singles kept building and building and picking up steam. His popularity rose for like a year bit by bit. I look at the charts every week and it always stuck out to me how that album never went away and gradually just blew up.


Now he’s a massive star.
