I'd far rather have a 7 or 8 match show that's tightly booked and delivers on almost everything, even if that means people get left off the card.

I thought the show was alright but being 7 hours really drags it down. They could've gotten this done in less time. There were a lot of stalling spots to pass time, especially during the McMahon matches. Asking people to be hype for that long is absurd.

But to answer the question, 30 was the better one.
