I'm black. I never considered myself African. I have no ties nor connection to Africa. That's why I never liked the term "African-American".
You need to let those in the Pacific Islands and Australia know. To say they migrated from Africa to many Aborigines will cause some problems. BTW, many of them look just like us here in America and they do not identify with Africa nor Black.Everyone has ties to Africa, you just do not know yours as a result to Slavery.
